Capturing True Social Conversations for St. Louis

When people are making something happen, they want you to know about it. There's never been a better way to show n' tell than Twitter, and STL Tweets provides the stage for the engaged to share their stories.
Initially envisioned as a way to simply discover trending topics in our hometown, this project has developed into a dynamic resource for tracking the chatter, the most interesting links and the truly influential players using Twitter in St. Louis. Visitors can go directly to the areas of interest they find most important, and look at it through their choice of three different lenses – tweets, links and people.
The Tweets lens allows visitors to tap into the stream of updates coming in directly from Twitter. STL Tweets does the filtering, pulling out only those tweets that have to do with what our visitors care about, whether it’s glamour or gardening.
